Venture Engineering was founded in 2006 by John Munson, P.E.. John is a native of the Reno-Sparks area and received his civil engineering degree from the University of Nevada Reno and has been a practicing professional engineer since 1992. John has extensive career experience in the planning, design, and management of land development projects as well as in the training and supervision of engineering staff, software implementation, and small business management. Over his professional career, John has completed a variety of projects across Northern Nevada. John has provided professional services to Architects, Developers, Home Builders and General Contractors, as well as many private individuals and businesses. John's experience encompasses all phases of project development from initial site investigation, preliminary design and entitlement to final design, permitting and construction. John maintains a balance of supervision and direct implementation of the work and retains a high level of knowledge of the design processes and company software capabilities.
